About this experience
A gentle two-hour guided walk through subtropical rainforest, timed to catch first light through the canopy.
What to expect
- A short safety talk and welcome to Country
- A slow-paced 4 km loop with stops for stories
- Time at the lookout as the sun rises
What to bring
Sturdy walking shoes
Water and a light snack
A layer for the cooler morning air
Accessibility
The trail is unsealed with gentle inclines. Not suitable for wheelchairs or prams. Children ten and up welcome with an adult.
Location
Meet at the Newrybar community hall carpark. Carpooling to the trailhead is arranged on the morning.
